San Antonio. Home to the Alamo, Gatorade was invented here, and it's considered one of the most haunted cities in the US. The Alamodome was built to host an NFL team, which has yet to happen. It is a city rich In history and with 1.4 million residents, it's a city with lots to do. San Antonio International Airport doesn't have as many routes as the other large cities in Texas, but locals are still in a great spot to take advantage of some easy weekend getaways!
With a vast array of short domestic destinations, there are also some international destinations within reach.
