Miami is known for nightlife and the most common area for visitors to flock to is South Beach. What many visitors don't know about is a neighborhood called Brickell. Brickell is a vibrant and social urban environment in Miami.
NOTE: This list does not include venues which are primarily known for being a lounge or a club.

Neighborhood: Brickell

What's unique? They have incredible food and the best Ramen in Miami. Facts.
What's great? The décor and the crafted drinks.
What's not great? It's a small space. They usually have a DJ spinning and it's just too loud.
Tip: Unless you choose Baby Jane as a late-night spot, I recommend heading there for happy hour or staying until about 9 or 10pm.

What's unique? For now, it's a hidden gem. Excellent cocktails and it's adjacent to DC Pie Co. Pizzeria.
What's great? The atmosphere, cocktails, beer selection.
What's not great? It can be hard to find (but that's also a good thing)
Tip: It's located right underneath the 10th street metromover station.

What's unique? The only true dive bar in Brickell. Free popcorn.
What's great? The local bar atmosphere, the games, and the drinks.
What's not great? It draws a younger crowd and sometimes there are fights.
Tip: If it's too crowded, head somewhere else. You'll know it's crowded if there is a bouncer at the door.

What's unique? They have the best tacos in Brickell and great drinks. They play reggae all the time.
What's great? Their selection of margaritas and their expanded seating area on the side.
What's not great? Taco Tuesdays are very busy. Fair warning.
Tip: SoCal is located within a larger restaurant called Dolores Lolita. It used to be more difficult to spot, but people are sometimes still confused. The bar is to the left of the main entrance to Dolores Lolita.

What's unique? It's the only true Karaoke bar in Miami. Karaoke is literally the purpose of it's existence.
What's great? The song selection is on point and the atmosphere is great. Everyone sings along. Oh and the drinks are pretty good.
What's not great? It is a small space and gets crowded quickly.
Tip: Fridays tend to be better than Saturdays, my opinion.

What's unique? Sugar is the only rooftop bar in Brickell.
What's great? The drinks are worth paying for.
What's not great? It can take a very long time to get a drink, even if you sit at the bar.
Tip: Sugar is located on the roof of a hotel. You'll need to wait in line on the ground level to be ushered up via elevator to the top floor.

What's unique? It has a great location right on the Miami River.
What's great? The drink specials and food. Atmosphere during football is great.
What's not great? It can get very busy and service can be compromised.
Tip: Come here for Super Bowl. You'll watch the game on the massive screen floating in the water. Very cool.

What's unique? Batch has the best brunch from the bars on this list.
What's great? Come here to watch sports. It's one of the better venues in Miami for that. The food is also pretty good.
What's not great? It lacks character.
Tip: Take the metromover to avoid parking, if able.
Riverside (multiple bars within)
Neighborhood: Brickell

What's unique? Riverside is a massive area with lots to do within including restaurants and bars.
What's great? The only brewery in Brickell, Miami River Brewery, is located here!
What's not great? The food options are limited right now as they wait for more vendors to come in.
Tip: Red Bike studios has created a pop-up location here during Covid-19. Get your spinning on!

What's unique? The décor and the games. They have comedy shows.
What's great? The drinks are top-notch and the staff is friendly.
What's not great? The crowd can be a bit much sometimes...
Tip: Ask to see a menu and order one of their specialty drinks.
